Creative Management

As a manager, I’ve faced many challenges, but through experience and training, I’ve discovered different techniques to handle any situation. Additionally, I’ve learned that working with creative teams is extremely rewarding but can also present unique challenges. Priorities are often different for those in creative roles than for those in corporate positions, so it’s vitally important to work cross-functionally to communicate across this gap. To do this takes patience, understanding, and honesty, but a manager’s best tool is an open door. After all, to be a good leader, you must first be a GREAT listener.
